Replacement of the tip on a nice Dufferin shaft.
The ferrule was quite scratched, so it took a bit of work to get it looking nice.
Tip Replacement - Dufferin
| The old tip was cut off with a Stanley knife leaving a thin sliver of leather then mounted in a precision collet and chucked in the lathe. |

| Remains of tip were faced off to get a good bond then new tip glued in place. |

| Then the tip was trimmed, profiled, sealed and varnished. Then the ferrule was sanded and polished. |
