Custom Cue #37
I wanted to do a 6 point forearm with veneers.
Forearm is curly satinwood, ebony points with inlays.

I was asked to add a leather wrap to a Predator wrapless butt.
Wrap channel was cut first using an endmill in a high speed spindle in my CNC lathe.
This is a bit of a complicated process to get the diameters correct, but worked out perfectly!
The owner wanted to customise his nice new Predator P3 with a Predator Luxe wrap.
This is a cue for a friend who knew exactly what he wanted. Hopefully it turns out as expected!
This is a custom cue for Australian Blackball champion, Mick Norton to use in competition.
A piece of dyed/stabilised Black Butt was the basis for this cue. This is very heavily figured, so no points will be added.
Customer wanted no wrap, so this has Red Zebrawood for the handle section.
Butt sleeve is Ebony with Elforyn and reconstituted stone inlays.
Cue will also be used for Heyball, so hence the smaller tip diameter.
This job is for a player from Western Australia.
He wanted me to add an Elforyn collar and 5/16x14 pin to a 1 piece Dufferin so he can use his existing shaft.
These joint protectors were made to suit 3/8x10 modified thread.
I wanted to try another carbon fibre jump cue, but a little heavier.
So this cue was made with 3mm wall thickness.
I used white inserts at both ends of the tubes to identify the different internal design.
I had a couple of pieces of heavily figured Teak, and used one on the forearm of this cue.
This cue is a surprise gift for my son!
This is actually a group of 3 identical 2 piece jump cue butts.
Butt has 2 pieces, the longer one is for close jumps and has a stainless steel pin.
The shorter piece has an aluminium pin and screws on to the longer piece for longer jumps. It also has a tapped bumper so the weight can be changed by adding a longer weight bolt.
