The good news is that I can now fit genuine Predator wraps! 

A number of older Predator cues come standard with a press in rubber bumper which will not accept the Predator extension.

But it is quite a simple fix, threading for the Predator screw bumper which is threaded on the inside for the extension.

I cut the threads in my CNC lathe with a thread mill.

This really nice IQ shaft came to me with a cracked ferrule. This is not uncommon for cues with these very short ferrules.

This is a butt only to match a customers shaft.

The client has specified all black colour, Uniloc quick release pin, 737mm (29") length and  553g (19.5oz) total weight.

The laminated maple core was turned to size, glue relief grooves cut and the Tasmanian Blackwood pieces glued in place. Because it is only possible to drill about 350mm with a gun drill, 3 pieces will be combined.

Butt cap and joint collar will be black Tomahawk to stay with colour scheme.

There will be a carbon fibre 8" extension as well.

I have been working on a design for a carbon fiber jump handle.

It consists of 2 pieces, main piece is 400mm long and there is a separate 100mm long extension.

By making the handle a little longer than others on the market I find it much easier to get the cueball airborne.

The handle is hollow with phenolic inserts at both ends of each piece.

Pins are very light weight aluminium Uniloc quick release.

Weight of the whole handle is around 120 grams!

This is a neat tool to help cut leather and rubber wraps to the correct length and end radius.

Makes the job much simpler.

Whilst this is not exactly a machine, but I made this to press veneers until the epoxy bond hardens.

It is made from aluminium tooling plate.

This is my most recent addition.

It is a 900x600mm 24000rpm CNC Router.

This router has enough length to profile a full butt or shaft. Previously I did this in my lathe, but I had a length restriction and had to turn it around to do both ends.
