The ferrule was quite scratched, so it took a bit of work to get it looking nice.

The thread mill is driven by a high speed spindle and produces much better threads than conventional thread cutting.

This will be a shaft for a jump cue. For a playing cue I also drill the end of the shaft to reduce end mass and cueball deflection.
